Uh, things are going grand. I tell you what this weather we're having really has been. Something else, it'd be cold one day, hot today.
Speaker 1:I don't know what it's like, uh, anyplace else, but here in North Carolina, well, we can experience every season. In one day it can start out 19 degrees. Before it's over, it'll be 70. Snow, rain, everything else. But about springtime now, I think we're getting ready to get out all that and we're just going to enjoy the springtime. We're getting ready to get out all that and we're just going to enjoy this springtime. I'm looking to go fishing sometime, maybe today or sometime this week. Uh got my fishing rods already and, and I'm ready to get busy. Uh, maybe this year I can uh get my boat, hopefully still asking for it. I asked my wife every, every year for a boat. She asked me, uh, at valentine's, what I wanted for valentine's. I says what do I always ask for? And, uh, she says a boat.
Speaker 1:I said yeah you're right, well, you can't have one. She says, well, she won't. I says I need a new fishing rod. So uh, she said buy my new fishing rod and reel. So anyway, it's part of fishing. That's what I like to do in my spare time.

We can do marvelous things and we're going to get more into the book today. We're going to start talking about the next wave of his glory. That's what we ended off uh last time and I know it's been a few weeks since the last podcast just been very busy, uh, things been happening and we just been, you know, trying to uh stay busy, right. Speaker 1:And we're back. Guys, I'm excited about what we're going to talk about today the next wave of glory. You know, we hear all the time about what it used to be in the old days Azusa Street and that's where this book is coming from. Pretty much, it talks about everything that took place back in those days and how miracles are being done and things like that, and people say, well, that was back then, this is now.
Speaker 1:That's true it is now, but God's the same today, yesterday and forever. He changes not. His glory is just as real now as it was back then. The problem is His people. We've stopped believing, We've stopped having faith in the things that we've heard Him do. We've read in the scripture of things he can do and how he can perform miracles, and we have just, I guess we've got complacent and stagnant in our belief of what he can do. And I think God is trying to tell us today that you know, he's not finished, he's not done, he can still do the same thing. But he's wanting us to, you know, believe in him again.
Speaker 1:Believe that when he said in his word that we are healed, we are delivered and that others can be the same. But we have got caught up in religion and we have forgotten about where you know the glory of God really is and what the Spirit really represents in this world, and it's time that we get back to it. So let's continue. Let's finish this chapter out, the next wave of glory. I believe that some cities are old wells of God's, anointing places of historical revival. God is calling pastors and congregations in those cities to re-dig those wells. Unfortunately, digging the debris out of an old well is not a pleasant task. When a pastor friend of mine bought some property in India, he was told that there was an old well on the property. It wasn't a common vertical well, it was slanted horizontally into the side of a mountain. As the ministry workers began to dig out the debris, they found old machinery, discarded furniture, scenery, discarded furniture and mounds of old trash among high standards of overgrown weeds and bushes. They found something else too they encountered hundreds of cobras in that abandoned well, and they had to be removed. My friend told me up and was flowing so strongly again that it had created a stream overnight.
Speaker 1:The next wave will come as God uncaps the artesian wells of his glory. Many of the wells in the desert of the Middle East are standing pool wells. There is enough water seeping up into the natural holding tank of the earth to keep it filled most of the time, even in the desert heat. Almost every living thing in the desert ecosystem makes its way to the oasis or standing pool well for the water of life. God has uncapped abundant standing pools of his presence that have brought life to millions of thirsty believers and unsaved people over the last few years. But they must travel to the well. There is forgotten power in pilgrimage. Now he is about to release the next stage or wave of his anointing and it will be unlike the old standing pool wells in that these new wells will be artesian wells that will explode with great force.
Speaker 1:New Collegiate Dictionary an artesian well is a well made by boring into the earth until water is reached which, from internal pressure, flows up like a fountain, a deep bored well. This new wave or level of God's glory will come solely from the deep bored people of God's presence. It will explode into our world with such force that His life-giving presence will push beyond every barrier and obstacle to flow into the thirsty streets of our cities and nations. This is how His glory will cover the whole earth. See Isaiah 6.3 and Habakkuk 2.14. Fountains of the deep will break open. You don't have to go to the waters of an artesian well. The water goes to you.
Speaker 1:Given the fact that water always seeks the lowest level and the path of least resistance, it is easy to see why Jesus, the brightness of the Father's glory and the expressed image of his person, said in Hebrews 1 and 3, the poor have the gospel preached to them. Matthew 11 and 5. God's glory always seeks to fill the void in the lives of men. In the days to come, god's glory will emanate from the most confounding places and individuals and it will begin to flow and fill the lowest and most open of the people, and he alone will receive the glory. The Lord spoke to me clearly about his glory during a rare downpour in Southern California.
Speaker 1:I was born and raised in Louisiana, where we are accustomed to seeing days of rain. There were many times when it would rain continuously for days and nights and no one would think anything about it, but when it rains in Southern California, people take notice. On this particular day, something strange was going on. California was getting a Louisiana-style thunderstorm. It was almost a subtropical downpour. Back home, people prepared for rain because they are used to it. They build ditches, culverts and storm sewers, so they are ready for the rain when it comes. The Los Angeles area, however, is not accustomed to that much rain.
Speaker 1:I happened to be in a coffee shop when it began. After 20 minutes had passed, I realized it wasn't going to stop, so I went out to where I'd parked the car on the street. I realized it wasn't going to stop, so I went out to where I'd parked the car on the street. The water was flowing over the curb and was almost knee-high in the street. I had to wade through it just to get my car out before the water level rose any higher In just 20 minutes. This happened as I drove away.
Speaker 1:I said to myself they sure don't build storm drains here or something. I don't know where the rain goes at home, but it never gets that deep in the streets that quick. As I walked through the rain back to my hotel room, I sensed God's presence and just began to weep as tears mingled within the rain. I sensed the Lord speak to my heart. Just as they are unprepared for the rain in the natural, so are they unprepared for my rain in the spirit, and I will come upon them suddenly. As I prepared for the meeting that night, I listened to the local news and I heard the weatherman in Los Angeles say something that struck a prophetic nerve in me. He said this is not the last storm. He said this is not the last storm. Actually, they are stacking up out in the Pacific like waves one against another. Then he added they're just going to keep coming and explained that the sources of those waves of rain was El Nino. El Nino in Spanish means the babe and is used to refer to the babe of Bethlehem. That weatherman didn't realize that he was prophesying, but he was talking about the Christ child, the source of all the waves of glory about to sweep over this planet. In that moment, something rose up in me and said yes, lord, send wave after wave of your glory until it has literally flooded everything. May all that is not of you just be washed away downstream. Rain, jesus, rain.
Speaker 1:Very often, the law of precedent applies to parallel events in the natural and spiritual realms. I am so hungry for the unleashing of his glory that I can't express its intensity or urgency. So this I pray, lord just let it rain. Satan is not going to have enough storm sewers to drain off the glory. This time it's going to rise so high that everybody is going to be floated off their feet and out of control in a mighty wave of the glory of God.
Speaker 1:Let it rain, lord. Let it rain Break open the fountains of the deep Uncap the ancient wells, reclaim your heritage. Stake the city. The earth is the Lord's city, the earth is the Lord's. He's done it before he can do it again. Send the rain, lord. Oh yeah, god. Send the rain, just send the rain. Let it overshadow us, let it pour through our spirit, let us feel your glory. Let us just see what you can do, god again. And I'm excited to know that one day and not too much longer that we're going to see God's reign. We're going to see it. We're going to see the rain fall again. I just you know. I see that there is a wave of glory that is coming to the body of Christ. I believe that. I hope you do. Let's take a short break and we'll be right back.
Speaker 2:In all things, in all things, in all things. You're working it out, working it out In all things, all things, in all things. You're working it out, working it out For the good Of those you call According to your purpose, for the good Of those you call according to your plan. Well, you are working. You are working for the good. Yeah, you are working. You are working for the good in all things, in all things, in all things. You're working it out, working it out.
Speaker 1:Welcome back, guys. We've been talking about the wave of glory. A new wave of glory, some people say. But I don't know that it's a new wave. I just think it's something that we have forgotten about. I think the glory of God still exists and I think that sometimes we forget how powerful God really is. We've heard about it, we've heard about it in old days and we've heard about all these things that God done Many years ago.
Speaker 1:Smith Wigglesworth preached in Wellington and that this same glory that we were just talking about fell. Men and women fell under the weight of God's glory. They were changed forever. And if you talk to old Pentecostals that's been around for a while of this various thing, they'll say that it sets them apart and the burning of it never goes away. It's down deep and they want to experience some more. But because once you've seen the throne and its holiness, you never want to look at anything else. See, once we can experience that glory, once we can experience the power of God, we don't want anything else. Nothing else can compare to it.
Speaker 1:You know, I preached here last Sunday at my local church and I was talking about, you know, in Overnight, acts 1, verse 8, where he talks about that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit. See, that power that he gives us. We have it inside of us, that power that he is known for. We have the same power and once you experience that, you don't want to experience anything different. There's nothing that can compare to it. But how can we experience the glory of God? The power of the glory of God is a manifestation of God's power, his presence and His holiness. It is a spiritual force that's available to everyone who believes God. Remember I said earlier that the reason we're not experiencing it is because we have forgotten or we have no desire to experience anymore. We don't believe We've allowed everything that's happened in our life to affect us.
Speaker 1:I know I went through something here a few months back with my wife and she was struggling in pain with her back, couldn't hardly walk. The only time she could get any relief is she lay flat on her back, couldn't move. And my wife, she is a God-fearing lady. She's up every morning early in her Bible doing daily devotions and praying, praying for everybody that's contacted her, and just seeking God. And I asked God. I said we prayed for her healing, but God, nothing was happening, you know, and why is she still suffering? When you said all we had to do is ask and pray, you suffered the stripes for the healing of our body, so why is she not getting any better?
Speaker 3:And I got mad. I did, I got mad at God.
Speaker 1:I told him. I says you tell me in your word that you heal me, but heal people, but my wife's still suffering. See, the enemy began to put doubt in my mind, began to put doubt that God is who he says he is. And I believe that's what's happened in the world today that we've quit believing about the power of God, we've stopped believing that he can do everything he says he can do, because we ourselves have gotten away from God. We're not doing what we used to do, we're not experiencing the things that we used to experience. Why? Well, a lot of it is because we've quit studying the word of God, we quit praying.
Speaker 1:We quit praying, we quit fasting, because the Bible tells us that when we begin to pray and fast, things begin to happen. That's what he told the disciples. The disciples come to him and say God, why can't we not cast out these devils, these demons? And he told them. He says these things only come by prayer and fasting. Have we quit doing that? Have we quit, you know, doing the things we know that we need to do in order to see and experience God's glory, his presence, his power.
Speaker 1:How is the glory of God experienced? It's experienced through spirituality or physical feeling. It can be seen in signs and wonders and miracles, Gifts of the anointing of the Holy Ghost. It can be seen in the way God prompts people on timing issues, all kinds of things. It's by believing in God and living in the glory you say. Well, preacher, how can we live in the glory? Easy, we can live in his presence 24-7. That's up to us. We can carry the glory of God. We can just begin to praise him and lift him up and worship him, aligning our hearts with him, open our mouths and giving God praise. That is what God expects of us. It's God's nature, his power, his dominion, his love for us, all these things that God can do for us, and we sit down and do nothing. We sit back and just let Him. You know, I don't know how I'm going to put this. We let Him down when he's given us the power. I just don't understand. I just don't understand. We may feel like the glory of God is untouchable or unreachable.
Speaker 1:Maybe you think of the manifestation of the glory of God as something reserved for special church services or an extraordinary circumstance only by an intercessor, ordinary circumstance Only by an intercessor. But the Bible tells us that it's available to everyone that believes. There's that word again Believe. Do you believe? The glory of God is available 24-7. It's built in us. That's how God designed it. It's how he designed you Believe. John 1.13 says that we were born of God, that the glory is inside us right now and all the things that the Father has, including his glory, belongs to you. This means his glory is up too far out of reach. It's right in our grasp. All we've got to do is believe and reach out for it. Acts 7. 55 says but he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God.
Speaker 1:If we're expecting to see the glory of God, then we probably won't. I always tell people when you're going someplace, expect the unexpected, especially if you're going to church. Don't just come in expecting the same thing over and over again, because that's what you'll get. But if you go expecting something new, something different than what you've experienced before, then I believe you will get it. You know, if we go to church and expect God to do something, why else are we going if we're not going to expect? You know we go and we hear the Word of God, we get ready for it, but what else are we expecting? Is there something we need from God? Is there something that you know we've been praying about? Expect it, just like anything in the kingdom of God.
Speaker 1:It takes faith. It takes faith to see a manifestation. The glory of God is. It takes faith. It takes faith to see a manifestation.
Speaker 1:The glory of God is a visible power. In the Old Testament, the glory appeared as a cloud, a cloud by day and a fire by night. For the people of Israel it was a visible power. It's also known as such kind of glory, which is the Hebrew name given to the presence of God dwelling on the earth, given to the presence of God dwelling on the earth. See, the nation of Israel saw the glory when God came down to meet them on Mount Sinai in Exodus 24, verse 7. It says the sight of the glory of God was like devouring fire on top of the mount. I'm telling you what the glory of God exists. Can we see those same physical manifestations of God's glory today? I believe we can.
Speaker 1:There are countless testimonies of individuals and groups of believers Having seen visible evidence of God's glory. Brother Kenneth Hagen compiled a list of every scripture in the Bible About the glory of God. It's there. All we've got to do is believe. All we've got to do is believe that exists, has created a universe, a being that can experience his very glory that he gives. The glory would appear like a cloud or a wave and people would fall on the floor under the power of God and rush to the altar to get saved on the floor under the power of God and rushed to the altar to get saved. In Pastor Hagee's revivals, if you'll follow, of Smith Wiggles, where he could tell you about God's glory, following him through meals and the glory of God that was on him so much, people fall out in the spirit, people just buckle their knees to be saved.
Speaker 1:I want to see that again. I want to experience that myself. I want to experience that, when I walk through a crowd, that the glory of God is so real in my life that people sense it and they're not afraid to ask. They're not afraid to say I want what you want. So that's what it's about, guys. It's about spreading the gospel, spreading the love of God to other people. So start expecting to see the glory of God, because I believe that we're getting ready to experience the glory of God.
Speaker 1:I think I believe that there's a wave of glory that's coming to the body of Christ. That wave is going to cause people to fall and repent, even those that claim to be Christians. They're hiding stuff inside. That's hiding things from other people that's been hitting, but God's getting to reveal it and it's going to cause them to fall and repent. It's going to be a wave like none other. Are you ready for it? Are you ready to experience the glory of God? I know I am. I'm tired of the same old, same old God. I know I am. I'm tired of the same old, same old, tired of going to church, you know, sunday after Sunday and not seeing God move because His people are not expecting it, because they've not believed. I remember those days. I remember seeing people delivered from diseases, dead people raised, blinded eyes open. I want to see that again. I want to see God move in a miraculous way.
Speaker 1:Guys, I hope you've enjoyed this chapter 7, the ending of this book. I hope that you can take something from it. Let's desire to experience the glory of God. Let's desire to see Him work in a marvelous way in our lives, because I believe he wants to. We've just got to let Him. As I said in the beginning, we've got to believe, we've got to have faith. Guys, until next time, pray for us. We're praying for you and if you want to reach out and contact us, please do. Our email is thechristiancafe2022 at gmailcom. I would love to hear from you.
